by pastorahsh on May.11, 2009, under Film and Justice

This is where we will post previews to our upcoming films as well as provide a place for ongoing discussions and movie suggestions. If you would like out find out more about the movies that we have shown before May 2009 check out our old Film and Justice site.

The two topics that we are working on for the coming months are Hemp and Global Warming.  If you know of any good documentaries on either of these topics, please let us know.

Family and Children’s Ministry

by pastorahsh on Apr.10, 2009, under Family and Children

At our gatherings, we encourage families to experience God together.  We believe that children learn best by being included in the whole life of the community rather than by being separated from the rest of the church.  We encourage parents to be pro-active in helping their children to participate in our Sunday gatherings: Listening, learning and positively contributing.

If you have children grades K-4th who are not yet ready to participate in our main gatherings, we have a children’s program in which they are invited to participate.  You will be informed where to bring your children during our announcement time, after our first music set.
